Three in a Row for Panache Chefs

Three in a Row for Panache Chefs

FOR A 3RD CONSECUTIVE YEAR A PANACHE COOK COMES OUT THE GREAT WINNER OF LES CHEFS! TV SHOW

Again this year, l’Auberge Saint-Antoine and all of Panache restaurant’s staff are very proud to have the winner of Les Chefs on their team.
The 3rd edition, aired on Radio-Canada recently.

Indeed, after Guillaume Cantin and Guillaume St-Pierre, it is now Dominic Jacques’ turn to claim first place in this prestigious culinary competition. Following a captivating and exhilarating finale, Dominic beat his opponent, Hakim Chajar, having prepared (with the help of his team-of-the-day) an impressive gourmet meal for 50 people.

Employed by Panache at its opening in 2003, and then again in March 2011 as second chef, Dominic Jacques has been working in the kitchen for almost 10 years. Over time, he has acquired solid experience by working alongside the best chefs from the best restaurants such as l’Initial, the Laurie Raphaël, Yuzu Sushi, and l’Huîtrière, in France, a restaurant specialized in seafood and fish.

For Dominic, the Les Chefs!experience is one of the biggest challenges he accomplished so far in his life.

Over twelve weeks, thirteen talented aspiring leaders engaged in a reality show and entered a fierce competition for a place among Canada’s cooking elite. Only two of these candidates had the chance to take part in the ultimate battle for the grand finale.

Panache’s Dominic emerged triumphant.
