Unique Whisky & Chocolate Tasting Event at the Festival Celtique de Québec

logo_festivalceltiqueThis year again, the Festival Celtique de Québec (August 29th to September 8th) proposes an original line-up of activities. The festival, which is still one of the city’s best kept secrets, attracts more people every year who are curious to discover the city’s deeply rooted Celtic culture. Join them and immerse yourself into the unique and festive ambiance worthy of the great clans which are represented throughout the festival (Irish, Scottish, Welsh, etc).

If there’s one event you absolutely can’t miss out on it’s the Whisky and Chocolate tasting evening which will be held on September 5th at 6:30 pm at the Morrin Centre. Those who wish to discover and savour this nectar of warriors will have the occasion to do so while listening to detailed descriptions given by experts on the matter.

An ambassador from the houses of Macalland and Highland Park will also be available to explain the different whisky flavours and answer questions on the particularities of each.

Of course, the addition of a selection of fine chocolates as accompaniments makes it all the more pleasant and adds to this flavour packed evening giving it a truly delightful and unique twist.

Evenings like this one also provide a great opportunity for meeting with fellow whisky aficionados. One thing’s for sure, whisky appreciation is no longer reserved to a select group of individuals and people of all ages and backgrounds participate in these events.

Organized and run by a handful of passionate volunteers, you’ll find yourself surrounded by welcoming and friendly folks in one of Québec’s most historical buildings.
