VEQ Christmas Happy Hour Brings Out The Crowds

VEQ Christmas Happy Hour Brings Out The Crowds

Deputy Mayor Michelle Morin-Doyle with Arthur Aron and guests at the VEQ Christmas Happy Hour.

The crowds were out in force on Thursday December 2nd for the Voice of English-speaking Quebec‘s Christmas Happy Hour at the Morrin Centre.

The event was well attended by community members, VEQ partners, board members past and present, local business people and dignitaries from City Hall.

There were three door prizes available on the night, the prizes being donated by the VEQ, Quebec City English bookstore AngloStore.com, Morrin Centre and the Quebec Art Company amongst others.

The lucky winners were Shirley Nadeau, Esther Paradis and Denise Caughey.

Loews Hotel le Concorde Quebec provided the desserts. And very nice they were too.

During the evening students from both Quebec High School and St. Patrick’s High School helped out.

Their help was appreciated by all.

The VEQ wish it to be made known that they would like to thank all of the community partners for their support throughout the last 12 months.
