Wine Online Sounds Fine

Montreal (Quebec) 5 May 2015 – It has become possible to order wine on line and have it delivered right to your door. The company, working in Québec under the site has what they call a presale (prévente) system where it’s possible to order a certain quantity of any wine they have on offer at very cheap prices and have the bottles delivered to your address within a week of ordering.

As an example, one can order 2 bottles of Domaine St. Georges AOC Minervois 2012, for $30.50 tax and delivery included. The site boasts 186 different choices of wine, mostly French and Italian, on its site.

The company is a European based wholesaler called Grape in a Bottle, and also offers its products on the website throughout Canada.

The SAQ, Société de Alcools du Québec is watching the results from Vinicieux very closely but says that the prévente project is perfectly legal because the company has met approval from the Société. The wines ordered through are all under $12 which makes it attractive because most wines sold at the government controlled SAQ are usually more expensive.

The site Winecious sold 4000 bottles in the month of April alone, so far is waiting to deliver its first order. Keep in mind it is a presale company which means your wine won’t be delivered the next day but, should usually arrive within one to two weeks after the order has been placed.
