World Masters Games Set for Quebec 2015?

Quebec wants to host the World Masters Games for 2015

In 2015, Quebec City wants to host the World Masters Games during the Winter Carnival, a multisport competition bringing together retired professional and former Olympic athletes.

This information was leaked from the SportAccord meeting which is held in St-Petersburg in Russia. This event brings together 3,000 athletes in the winter version and 30,000 in the summer version. It takes place approximately every four years. It was first held in the summer of 1985 in Toronto.

The Carnival organization wishes to welcome the winter games which are younger. The first winter World Master Games took place in 2010 in Bled, Slovenia.
