World Snowshoe Championship Comes to Quebec

Forêt Montmorency, host site of the 2012 World Snowshoe Championship

The Quebec Snowshoes association is proud to welcome the World Snowshoe Championship on March 9th, 10th and 11th 2012.

Following last year’s event in Japan, this year’s charming race site will be Forêt Montmorency.

World champion and Quebec resident, David Le Porho, will attend the event.

The World Snowshoe Championship will be part of the “36h de la Forêt Montmorency”, a weekend long event of sporting competition. Saturday (March 10th) will showcase a cross country ski race during the day and an endurance mountain bike race spanning six hours during the night! Sunday (March 11th) will include the World Snowshoe Championship and the Quebec Snowshoe Championship as well as a 5km and half marathon snowshoe event, the latter two will be open to the general public, for more information please see: www.36hforet.com
